Comic Con costume and Cash Contest

Now what would I do with a $1000 to Costume Supercenter?

Well to start I'd grab a few costumes I've been eyeing forever like the Womens Purple Renaissance Lady costume and the Women's steam punk Renegade Costume. I'd stock up on accessories to complete my costumes because that's something I usually skip due to budget restrictions. And I'd also pick up a few party supplies so that I could throw a Halloween party (because what's the point in winning a bunch of sweet costumes if you can't show them off?) Maybe I'd even let the boyfriend get something for himself ;)

Father's Day and Think Geek

Father's day is coming up soon and I know a great place you can shop for Father's Day gifts!! That place is ThinkGeek! They have everything from clothing to candy to gadgets and it's all geek dad friendly!

This is honestly one of my favorite shops. It's one of the first places I come when I need to buy gifts and I never leave empty handed. I can spend hours and hours browsing (and wishing I had one of everything)!  Their products are awesome and their pricing is great. A lot of their stuff I can't find anywhere else.

Father's day is as good a reason as any to head on over and check out what they have to offer.

If all else fails I can always pick up a gift card and this puzzle vault will make giving the gift extra fun. I bought a few of these for my friends and secret santa gifts this year and it was a lot of fun watching the recipients try to figure out the vault. I even wrapped the gift cards up inside of the vault, so while they knew it was a gift card they didn't know which store it was to until they figured out the puzzle!

Bucket List

Sketchers Giveaway over at My Organized Chaos

I just came across a giveaway that I HAD to share! Tammi over at My Organized Chaos is hosting an amazing giveaway where one reader is going to win not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR pairs of Sketchers shoes. Yea, you read that right - Four pairs. 

I'm pretty excited about that and am crossing my fingers and toes! The giveaway ends December 6th and is open to Canada only. If you have feet then you should go check out this giveaway because sketchers makes some pretty good shoes.

Giving It Away

I recently signed up for a giveaway site called Giving It Away. They run giveaways open to the US and Canada multiple time throughout the week and the prizes they give away are pretty sweet. A large amount of the prizes are gift cards and cash, but they've also given away kindles, PS3's and an Ipod touch.

The giveaways are only open for a short period of time (1 - 3 days) and entering is really easy. All you have to do to enter is like the post, tweet the post or leave a comment on their giveaway video. Easy right?

Usually when you sign up you get 50 Givitbucks, but this week they're doing a special referral bonus. Every time someone signs up through a referral link, both the referrer (in this case that would be me) and the person signing up (hopefully you) get 500 bonus Givitbucks!

Givitbucks are points you get every time you enter a giveaway. Once you have 5 Givitbucks saved up you can redeem those 5 points to get an extra ballot in a giveaway. The more ballots you have the better your chances. Simple as that.
